As a local government solicitor and monitoring officer I have worked closely with senior management teams and elected members from across the political spectrum, in good times and bad. 

Prevention is better than cure and I have delivered training for hundreds of Councillors supporting them to understand their responsibilities under their Codes of Conduct as well as supporting their learning and development to effectively deliver for residents.

Sometimes things are going wrong; as an experienced monitoring officer I can support officers and members alike to reflect on situations and find solutions. Having worked in partnerships and contracting scenarios I understand the unique challenges this can place on teams who are trying to secure the best outcomes let me support you to find win win solutions as well as moving to the future.
